Recently, Qingdao Mingyue Seaweed Group has newly obtained the PCT international invention patent authorized by Japan: a kind of sodium alginate and its preparation method and application.

Sodium alginate is an excellent marine biological material, which can be widely used in the field of medicine. The breakthrough of the present invention is to successfully solve the existing defects of unstable viscosity, large molecular weight distribution, and large particle size distribution of the existing sodium alginate, so as to stabilize the sustained-release effect of the drug formulation and meet the sustained-release requirements.
